About
Move in peace.
Two words we kept coming back to. Not as a slogan first — as a test. Every decision here had to pass it.
What we make
Basics, in the literal sense. A tee. A hoodie. Weights and cuts that hold their shape, in a palette narrow enough that everything works with everything else. We would rather make four things properly than forty things adequately.
There is no season here, and no drop calendar. If a piece is good it stays. If it stops being good it goes, and we say why.
How it is made
Nothing is cut until you order it. Your order goes to a print facility, the garment is printed and finished for you specifically, and it ships direct. Typical production is two to five business days before a carrier ever touches it.
That is slower than pulling a folded shirt off a shelf. It is the trade we chose. Printing to order means no warehouse full of sizes nobody picked, no end-of-season landfill, and no pressure to discount our way out of a bad forecast — because we never made the forecast.
The honest version of the trade-off: you wait a little longer, and we cannot offer the free two-day shipping of a company sitting on inventory. What you get instead is a garment that existed for the first time because you asked for it.
What we print on
We do not pretend to weave our own cloth. The tee is a Gildan 5000, a 5.0–5.3 oz 100% cotton body with a taped neck and shoulders and a straight, unfussy cut. The hoodie is a Cotton Heritage M2580 — heavier, brushed inside, three-panel hood. Both are blanks we can get consistently, in quantity, for years. Consistency matters more than novelty when the whole point is that your second one fits like your first.
Every measurement we publish comes straight from the supplier, not from us. You can read all of them on the sizing page.
Where we are going
Lithe is small and new, and we would rather say that than perform being bigger. The catalogue will grow slowly. The standard will not move. If something we ship is not right, tell us and we will make it right.
Move in peace.
